Brewers Update
BEER PARTY: January 22 at 6:30-7pm.
We need to blow some kegs and celebrate the January b-days of Tuesday regulars: Lynda, Chuck, ME, and V. If Oliver shows up to the party, then we can toast him too. Check back for the menu... I will post it when we have decided.
AND IN THE NEWS:
TADA!!! NEW ROOF!
Don't worry, when the rains stop we will be painting it. Right now, we are thinking a little darker mocha with white garage doors and cream trim and shutters (or even a brunt red that matches the roof for those). We are also going to someday replace the front doors. Those will be red too. All is or will be matching the fireplace brick.
Going away January 31: 20th high school reunion (click here to see some of the pics)!

Beveridge Place Pub
January 3rd was Chuck and my "treats day" at Choir. Keith and he came up with a great shash-hit again! After church, rather than trek all the way back to Bellevue, I suggested that we just hang out on the West side. We did the dishes (not much was left!) at Chuck's condo and had the rest of the corned-beef hash for lunch. Deciding we needed a beer, we chose to head over to Beveridge Place since Keith and I haven't seen the new place yet. I had New Belgium's Fall Wild (a surprise) and Climax's Noel Belgian Red. Keith decided on Monk's Blood and an old standby, Homo Erectus. I don't remember what Chuck had... but we had a good time with the bartender, Day Carmelita and their collection of astrological books!
2010 Belgianfest
Keith and I are not going on January 23, but I believe Chuck is and maybe Karen and Don, so I should get something to report.
6th Annual Water Street Brewing's Strange Brewfest
Coming, January 30-31st in Port Townsend, WA... we are thinking really hard about getting a room for the three of us and going. We went to this twice on the second day and missed a few really good beers not to mention a few really good fights!
February Research
Don't know about events that we would go to just yet. Check back later...
