We have been here SIX WHOLE MONTHS!

The Last Email

Remember that last email from a year ago? Last March, today... we purchased all the assets to Hops and Seed in Woodinville and turned it into our own. In October 2025, we opened with only four beers on tap and two ciders.

I know I promised to email out updates to the mailing list, but as with all startups, we got swamped. I only have a small breather now because I have been terribly sick for the last three weeks and home trying to recover. Keith has been a galiant knight (troll?), manning the pub all alone, dealing with some rather unfortunate personalities and some rather great ones too. We all know the world is diverse.

After only six months we have reached our first growing pain: NO ROOM IN THE COLDROOM! We have to outfit the space with pallet racks to enable us to safely and effciently use the space. As of this moment, we can't even use the big system because we have no way of stacking the kegs higher then two levels without risk. We need to get a lift of some kind as well.

We are also investigating the possibility of purchasing a small canning line. This will enable us to offer grab'n'go packs and also sell offsite much easier. It is still only the two of us for now... keep wishing us luck!

Gonna be at the Faire!

Come to the Faire!

Faire Du Well Cool news in the works! Our good friend GregRobin Smith is the Managing Director of The Washington Shakespearean Festival and he is organizing the The Washington Shakespearean Festival's Skagit Valley Renaissance "Faire du Well". Well, he has arranged that our beer will be the exclusive beer poured at the festival!

NO KIDDING! We ARE THE Biergarten! This is exciting news! The only issue we are going to have is that the World Cup is also that weekend and our complex is doing a big thing around the games and we are also part of those festivities. We would LOVE to go an represent the brewery but, we cannot be in two places at once.

SO we are hoping that some of our customers will go and represent for us! Come back with some souvenirs from the faire, and get a discount.

Trevor the Troll

I am Trevor

Many of you may know my story… my run in with the three old goats who wanted to get to the other side of the water to eat and fatten themselves up. I used to own that bridge they wanted to cross. They played dirty and one day, I found myself knocked into the water being carried away by the current.

It was then that I decided to do something that even they wouldn't take from me.

I decided to make beer.

Now, no one runs from me!
